WHAT WILL I STUDY?
Entry Level 3: Health and safety, communication in construction, employability skills and introduction to construction trades.
Level 1: Health and safety, communication and employability in construction, plus aspects of brickwork, carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing and tiling.
Progression
This course serves as a pathway onto our other courses, offering experience in multiple trades before choosing a specialism. Completing a level 1 course opens pathways to professional construction or apprenticeship opportunities.
Many of our apprenticeship employers prefer students to have completed a level 2 construction qualification before undertaking an apprenticeship.
